Request An AppointmentDr. Desiree Garzon, a Florida native, holds an exercise physiology degree from Florida State University. She coordinated clinical trials and developed protocols for medical studies as a research assistant after completing her degree. Later, she earned a doctorate in podiatric medicine from Barry University College of Podiatric Medicine in Miami and completed a three-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach. Dr. Garzon has extensive training in foot & ankle trauma and reconstruction surgery and lower extremity wound care.
Dr. Fischborn, originally from Bogota, Colombia, now considers Florida her home. After earning a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Florida Atlantic University, she received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in Miami Shores in 2019. During her studies, she was involved in wound care research and received surgical training at Palmetto General Hospital, specializing in foot and ankle trauma as well as elective procedures.
